Izmailovsky Park is one of the biggest parks in Moscow. The area is known as nature reserve since XVI century when it became an estate of Russian Tsars.
In early 30s it was transformed into public park with attractions, cinema and ice rink during winter.
Starting early 60-s the park became popular with older people, they get together every Saturday for a dance party in a park.
The park was very close to my house and it was a usual place for birthday celebrations and summer hangout.
